Can you believe that since I started this project that we've had 7 snow storms!!! Here's a picutre from my home office window on the morning of April 27th!
The next day it was all gone by noon... that's Colorado for ya.

Here are the last pictures before the job was completed. I'll have new picutres when we stage the house and put it on the market by this weekend.

Obviously, the back of the house with all the new siding on. The house orginally had 4 different kinds of siding. To the right is the back yard entrance into the laundry room which leads into the kitchen. The left side of the house is where the master bedroom and bathroom are. The only entrance into the MBR was through the laundry room (which was a 2nd kitchen!). Now, there is an entrance from the MBR into the bedroom on the opposite wall from the windows because when this was added to the house, it closed up the back window to the 2nd bedroom. Then when the carport was enclosed for a garage, the window on the left side of the 2nd bedroom was closed up so then that bedroom had NO windows. We broke through the wall to add a doorway, then added the door with the glass panels. I hope this makes sense because it's a little hard to describe.

The kitchen new configuration. The empty spot to the left is where the fridge goes. All new cabinets and appliances. The back splash goes all the way up the wall to the cabinets which is a very nice touch. There is Pergo on the floor that has the look and feel of real wood. It fooled the Realtors!

The new laundry room. This is directly behind the kitchen and, where the new cabinets are, there was the old stove and counter tops. This door way leads into the master bedroom. This is the added on portion across the back of the house you saw from the outside in the picture above. Fortunately for us the construction was good so we didn't have to change anything structurally. The Pergo continues into this room from the kitchen. All the bedrooms, hallway, and living room will be in a light colored carpet.

Master Bath off the Master Bedroom. This room was completely gutted and we found some moisture problems behind the old tub surround. We took it down to the studs. Everything in here is new including the window!
That's it for now! Just a sneak peak to the finished product. Every Tuesday morning four of us Brokers tour different neighborhoods looking at listings. We've seen this house in the mid-stages and at this stage and then this week we looked at the competition, or what's currently for sale in this neighborhood. All the Realtors agreed that this house is going to show the best.

Next time I'll post before and after pictures side by side so you can see the big difference!
