The Finished Product!

This week the house was staged on Sunday, put in the MLS on Monday and received a full price offer on Friday! Here are the final pictures with a "before" and "after." See what a difference

staging makes, it's amazing!

The "after" picture of the front with the new garage door, siding and everything with a fresh coat of paint! The landscaping is done but in the shadows. The grass is patchy and we put down some seeding to try and fill in the sparce areas.

The Kitchen before............................................and After. You can see that the original kitchen had a window to the left of the sink which was closed up with drywall. We made the straight kitchen an "L" shape. We moved plumbing and added electrical over the sink and for the stove and diswasher. The new floors are Pergo that we got a terriffic price at Home Depot because they were closing out this color. It looks and feels like real wood floors!

WOW!

Here's the living room before and after we widened the door into the kitchen to open up the house more. The staging actually makes the room look bigger!

The master bath had to be gutted down to the studs. What an amazing transformation!

This is the room just behind the kitchen. It was actually a 2nd kitchen. The doorway you see

here leads into the master bedroom. We think that this was a separate living quarters. We turned it into a laundry room! We had to move plumbing and electrical. Pergo floors here too.

This room is the master bedroom and in picture to the left you can see the doorway to the master bath room. In the picture to the right it shows the closet doors rather than the bathroom to the left. Same window.

This room was the window-less room. We are looking at the same corner where we opened up a doorway into the master bedroom directly behind it. What a clever way to bring in light.

All went smoothly with this project. I had a terriffic contractor and he in turn has an amazing crew! In spite of the 7 snow storms beginning with the first week we closed escrow until we finished, we only went over time by 2 weeks. Without the weather, we probably would have compelted the job in 4 1/2 weeks instead of 6.

Now on to the next project, just as soon as I find it!
